Privacy Policy
Jiv1.Health AI Private Limited ("Jiv1.AI", "we", "us") operates the Jiv1.AI healthcare platform (app and website). We are built for India and comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023. Your health records are stored in the ap-south-1 (Mumbai) region.
Information we collect
- Profile details, phone number and Aadhaar-based KYC (for identity verification).
- Health data you provide: vitals, prescriptions, lab reports, consultation history.
- Payment and financing details processed via our PCI-DSS-compliant payment partner (Cashfree). We do not store full card numbers.
- Device and usage information needed to run the service securely.
How we use it
To power consultations and home visits, personalize your care plan, process payments, insurance and EMI, and send health reminders. We never sell your data.
Who can see it
Only you and the doctors/pharmacies you engage. Aria (our AI assistant) reads your records to answer your questions. We share data with service providers (e.g. payment, cloud, delivery) strictly to deliver the service, and with authorities where required by law.
Third-party AI processing
Some features generate a result by securely sending only the specific data needed to third-party AI providers. We ask for your permission the first time this happens, and you can withdraw it anytime in Settings. We share only what a feature needs — never your full record — and the providers process it solely to return your result; they do not use it to train their models on your data.
- Anthropic (Claude) — reads lab reports, bills and claim documents you upload, and the vitals/questions you enter, to generate your AI health report, finance insights, claim autofill and the Aria assistant's answers.
- Sarvam AI — converts your voice recording to text (and text to speech) when you talk to the assistant.
- Cashfree — reads your ID document (Aadhaar) image for KYC identity verification.
You can use the app without AI features; if you decline, that feature simply won't run. These providers may process data outside India for the sole purpose of returning your result.
Security & retention
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and retained only as long as needed for care and legal/tax obligations, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can request a copy, correct, or delete your data anytime from in-app Settings or by writing to privacy@jiv1.ai.

For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights above, write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@jiv1.ai. We acknowledge and respond to grievances within 30 days. If your grievance is not resolved, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India.
